Driver-cum-salesman is expected to drive vehicle, maintain vehicle, maintain log book, carry and deliver merchandise safely to stockists/retailers, take signature of consignee on the challan as proof to having delivered materials, deliver bills, collect payment and deposit the payment collected from stockist/retailers with the responsible persons of the organisation. The salesman is expected to collect orders for merchandise from stockists/retailers, maintain records, ensure timely delivery of merchandise, follow up for payment wherever required, maintain cordial relation with customers, take care of after sales service, work as front line executive of the company and other marketing related activities.
