Job Description

LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES ONLY FROM LOGISTICS DIVISION  - 

RESPONSIBILITY:

Maintain healthy client relationships and help them manage their consignments.
Facilitate as a bridge between client and various logistics companies.
Handle issues relating to pick-up; delivery of consignments.
Systematic and timely communications with partners to manage daily tasks.
Manage tele-support lines and support tickets.
Conduct online meetings with clients to help them manage logistics tasks efficiently.
Ability/Experience in handling follow up with courier partners to get the shipments delivered.
Arrive at the transit time; plan with the transport department & to move the stocks accordingly.
Follow up with each Depot / C&FA on the tentative Indent and firm Indent and give to Factories (both the indents).Follow up on movement of stocks. Primary / secondary freight finalization, after verifying the economical rate and faster delivery of stocks.
Ensure correct billing system of the stocks moved, with proper rate and batch Nos. at depots / C&F points.
Ensure that there are no billing mistakes in Depots / C&F points.
Ensure that FIFO system is maintained in every depot / C&FA.
Coordinating with Materials and Production on a daily / weekly basis and ensure that the two depts. are given sufficient time in getting stocks and then dispatch.
Ensure that depots / C&F keep proper acknowledgements of stocks delivered.
Coordinating with all Factories and ensure stocks are received in time.
Keep a close track on various Governmental / Regulatory methods, like F-Forms, C-Forms, to be collected in time.
Close monitoring of slow moving / Ageing stocks.
Manage account creation process for converted clients.
Device plans of action during on-going logistics issues.

OTHER IMP RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure daily operational issues are handled promptly and efficiently.
Regular coordination with internal team to come up with process improvements.
Sharing knowledge and feedback with other departments to help them improve their work.
Constant interactions with our strategic partners for process improvements and effectively reducing daily operational issues.
Come up with effective means of managing tasks during critical load phases.
