Job Description

The purpose of the role is to create new prospects and meeting new business development targets, identify customer requirements, define markets and customise solutions and offerings.

 

Develop New Strategies, planning and Implementation.
Meeting with new clients, develop business
Handle customer service vertical 
Monitor market intelligence within industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc.
Training and development of team.
Ensure Business Growth Q on Q

Key activities Sales administration

  Preparation of Quotations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  Report Sales activity into the Sales force.
  Maintain Sales Visit Plan.
  Pursue activities to achieve set KPIs.
  Any other task assigned by the management

Build Business relations with Prospects & Existing customers by regular client visits.

Follow-up on Quotations and obtain customer feedback.

Negotiate and Close deals.

Achieve set individual target set by management.

Generate Sales leads for Overseas Branches & Agents

To work towards achieving set Sales KPIs of the Branch.

To jointly work with the team in Trade lane development.

To perform regular market surveys and gauge the market pulse and keep abreast with the moves of the Competition.

 To collect regular feedback from Customers to gauge Customer delight and effect improvement wherever necessary.

 SKILL SETS & QUALIFICATIONS

 Key capabilities:

Market knowledge of Logistics industry.

Strong Selling and communication skills

Should be a team person with excellent interpersonal skills.

Should be Computer Savvy.
