Job Description: Recruitment Manager
Position Summary:
The Recruitment Manager will partner with the Operations Manager to identify, design, and implement recruitment strategy and programs that meet the business needs of the company. The Recruitment Manager is responsible for full life cycle recruiting. The job entails assisting hiring/client managers in sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, interviewing candidates, reference and background checks, and offer negotiations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversees and directs activities of the Recruiting team
- Facilitates day-to-day operations and goal achievement of Recruitment Team Members
- Manages and adjusts requisition volumes to best support client and consultant needs
- Ensures a smooth workflow and even distribution of work among team members
- Work with management to determine recruitment needs and staffing objectives
- Maintain relationships with key recruiting vendors – both contingent and retained agencies
- Attend and coordinate participation in job fairs and college recruitment events
- Help management identify and resolve issues in employee relations
- Stay current on key federal, state and local laws and regulations. Advise and influence senior leaders on talent acquisition strategy
- Establish recruiting processes, identify and implement best practice in selection and onboarding
- Continually assess the competitiveness of all recruiting strategies and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and local markets
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
- Provide support to the Proposal Writing Team by providing resumes and any recruitment related information
- Perform other special projects as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to actions and directives from management, employee information, and additional sensitive information
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of recruitment, employment law, policies and risks associated
- Passionate about people and recruiting; strong partner and collaborator; experience in interviewing and candidate selection.
- Experienced with social and internet recruiting, applicant tracking systems, developing recruitment strategy, and trying the “new and different”
- Must use professional judgment and discretion at all times
- Must be a team player to develop and maintain excellent working relationships within recruitment team
- Ability to effectively represent the company to prospective recruiters and manage the relationship with candidate to facilitate feedback and maintain interest level
- Experience in information technology and consulting services industry preferred
- Well organized and detail oriented with an ability to multi-task.
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
