Facilities Manager

Full Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseeing and agreeing on contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, etc.

• Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds, and security.

• Ensuring that basic facilities (school buildings) and amenities such as water, electricity, and generators are well-maintained.

• Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Allocating and managing space between buildings.

• Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.

• Advising Management on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Overseeing building projects, renovations, or refurbishments.

• Drafting reports and making written recommendations.

• Oversee the function of Transportation as well.

• Any other work assigned by the DFO and HOS

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position

• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices

• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Good analytical/critical thinking

• Relevant professional qualification will be an advantage

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration or related field.

• Five years of related experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹75,000.00 per month
